FROM THE RABBI
Welcome to PSJC Shabbat Box. We will be providing a variety of opportunities to observe Shabbat with your PSJC community. Most weeks, we will have a streaming Kabbalat Shabbat service on Fridays just before Shabbat begins, and virtual Havdalah Service just after Shabbat ends. From April 18th forward, we will continue with our live-zoom Shabbat morning services each week.
For those who would prefer to celebrate on your own time, please take a look at this Shabbat Box, filled with resources for welcoming Shabbat in your home, Siddurim and Transliterations of the Shabbat Service, melodies for Shabbat services, texts of special prayers for the day, including prayers for healing and Mourner’s Kaddish, recordings of Torah and Haftarah readings for the day, a Dvar Torah, and often other teachings as well. We hope that this Shabbat box serves as a resource for you to observe Shabbat for yourself and to connect to your community even in the midst of these days of isolation.
